We just bought a new TV with tons of places to plug thing in but our playstation and DVD player all have the red white and yellow plugs. There is only one place to plug these in. If we plug the playstation into any of ther other spots, we don’t get any color. Is there a conversion kit for this? Thanks!

Well I don’t know how come your TV only has 1 R/W/Y plug in. Well anyways, see if your DVD player has a HDMI plug in. If it does, get a HDMI cable ($15-25) and use it for your DVD player. You will experience great picture and audio quality by using those. You can use the one and only R/WY plug in your for your PlayStation then. Also, see if you can connect your DVD player to the TV by using S-video cables if you don’t want to spend $25 on a HDMI cable. You will still notice a difference compared to R/W/Y cables.

If you just bought the TV its inconceivable that it only has one Composite (Yellow) video port. Check again.
If it really does only have 1 Composite port, check your DVD player (and TV) for HDMI & Component (Red, Green, Blue) ports. With HDMI you will not need to use Stereo audio cables (Red, White) because HDMI does video & audio. With Component you will need Stereo audio cables but your lack of video ports problem will be solved.
And plugging your playsation’s (composite) cable into the component or audio ports on your TV obviously wont work–thats like trying to plug them into the wall.
