Works for me
I owned one. It worked fine for me. I could use it on the road (I travel a LOT). The docking feature for my iPod was a selleing feature for me.

Battery does not work, will not charge?

Poor build quality
While the iPod integration (if you have an older iPod) is really nice, the unit itself has a very grainy, low-resolution screen and the build quality is very poor.
